The level of care and compassion shown by the staff here exceeds any other vet I’ve taken my dogs to. From the second you walk into the door your pets are greeted with such love. I hands down recommend city by the sea vet for anyone looking for a professional, loving knowledgeable vet. Whether it be the receptionist, the techs or the doctor they are all great! Also, the new office is gorgeous! Thank you for caring for Zoey, Bernie, and Mini Edit: Our sweet Mini has passed on. She was sick but it was sudden. When we rushed her over to the urgent care, they took her in immediately and treated us with such care and compassion. Starting with the staff when we walked in to the techs and then Dr. Murray. She gave us our options and helped us understand what she thought was best for our baby. We decided quality over quantity was best. They put us in our own little family room and gave us time. This place has never let us down. They are the absolute best around. My pets are my babies/children. I don’t trust just any vet. City by the sea won’t let you down. Thank you all for everything. The new office and the urgent care, both have treated our pets as their own. If your pet needs immediate help or just a friendly visit, City by the sea is hands down the place to go.

Dr. Tom continues to show how unscrupulous and unprofessional he is by replying to new, bad reviews with “im worried about privacy but…” then sharing EVERYTHING. Its so INSINCERE and GROSS see screen shot. Im so sorry to this person whose dog you hurt. Should rename itself “Euthanasia Clinic By The Sea”. I too left a glowing review at first. They gave conflicting meds and made my cat sicker. dr Falvey apologized for doing so. The old office was so dirty and chaotic. Who puts couches and in ANY medical exam room? Especially pets?! My cat is doing so much better at a different vet. Almost 2 years and this magical new location was the justification for their stressful and cramped waiting room. excuses about emergencies and not having time/being disorganized and quality of care are not acceptable. Sharing peoples entire history on google review replies. The longer I live here the more terrible stories I hear- unless its a euthanasia. They sent someone with the body of their dead cat to the health department in Ewing at night. The health department wondered where the paperwork from the vet was? They had to call city by the sea and initiate it the next day after my grieving friend spent the evening freaking out. Another person i met was quoted 10k to save their dog and sent to Eatontown, then somehow a city by the sea doc magically scrubbed out of surgery and offered to do it for 5k when she was there for a euthanasia appt. Why do they put people though this? Thank the lord we left this vet. I’ve never had an elderly cat with multiple chronic health issues. Now that I do, I recognize City By The Sea is not functional or experienced enough to handle this. They are best suited as an urgent care, which is what they are trying to be. They used their future new location as an excuse for YEARS to justify appearance and performance. At our new vet, they advised removing 2 contradictory supplements City By The Sea recommended and my cat is doing much better. Every appointment we have now is extremely well informed with great doctors. At city by the sea, they don’t help with anything. we saw a new doctor and tech every single time, i would have to tell the doc WHY we were there and could overhear the tech asking “how do you use this thing again” when i asked if they could please TEACH us to use the pet inhaler.…theres no reasonable wait for appointments when a regular patient has an emergency because their schedule is so full with urgent care, this was a huge issue. “Dr” Tom is business owner who wants money and success. He withheld my cat’s records and prevented a same day appointment at another vet so he could add his notes about how much he doesn’t like me. Was this an intelligent and compassionate choice for the animal? Does he even care? No, he doesn’t. Just go somewhere else, unless you need an emergency euthanasia. Dr. Tom cannot seem to consider for a moment that he isn’t already perfect.

I had to bring my cat in for an emergency visit late on a weeknight. Dr Murray and her team were patient, kind and compassionate. They gave Cosie excellent care and were able to help her. They even called the next day to check on her although she is not one of their regular patients. After that experience I intend to make her a regular patient!

A++ facility only rivaled by the caring employees that work there. Would not trust Coopers care to anyone else.
