I live in New York City, but I have had a house in Brigantine since the late 1980s, and I can say without hesitation that Brigantine Animal Hospital has restored my faith in veterinary care. Over the years, I became very frustrated with so many vet practices in New York that now feel like corporate chains. Every visit seemed rushed, impersonal, and filled with upselling. Too often, it felt like the business came first and the animal came second. When my dog was injured while I was in Brigantine, I brought her to Brigantine Animal Hospital, and the difference was remarkable. They were compassionate, thorough, patient, and clearly focused on what was best for my dog, not on what they could sell me. It felt like the kind of veterinary care people used to provide, where the welfare of the animal truly came first. That experience meant so much to me that Brigantine Animal Hospital is now my go-to vet for all non-emergency care, even though I live in New York City. I gladly plan around being in Brigantine because I trust them that much. This is a truly excellent practice. They give both pets and owners the time, care, and attention they deserve, and I am incredibly grateful to have found them.
