Love the care that is given to my 2 German Shepherds. Dr. Kendall is wonderful, she is both holistic and I guess you would say a general vet. All the staff there is also pretty amazing.

Clayton is absolutely the best. I moved here from California and I was completely lost on finding care for my animals. I wanted a holistic hybrid experience and couldn’t believe I found this place. My cat, Wrynn, has behavioral issues and a relapsing problem with self-harm, and while previous vets were unhelpful and even critical of me, Clayton has been nothing short of compassionate, understanding and eager to help. Dr. Kandle, her techs and the ladies at the front desk are all incredible. I would add more names but there’s too many people I’m grateful for at this establishment to remember them all. My kitty is in good hands, and I’ve only had good experiences for my other kitty and my dog as well. Thank you so much!

We were patients of this practice for several years while caring for our dog. Unfortunately, our experience — particularly toward the end of his life — was unacceptable and ultimately eroded our trust in this practice. This was not an isolated issue. There were multiple occasions where we left appointments feeling uncertain, unheard, and without clear answers. We experienced inconsistencies in what we were told from visit to visit, and concerns that were raised were not always addressed with the clarity or follow-through we expected. Over time, this pattern made us question the accuracy and reliability of the assessments we were receiving. When we had questions about test results or diagnoses, communication was repeatedly routed through technicians who did not have answers and needed to “check with the vet.” Despite requesting it, we were never given the opportunity to speak directly with the veterinarian/owner to have a substantive discussion about our dog’s health. When facing potentially serious medical concerns in a beloved pet, access to clear and direct communication from the doctor should not be difficult. The final interaction confirmed our decision not to return. When I came to pick up our dog’s ashes, they were handed to me at the front desk without a single word of acknowledgment or sympathy. No “I’m sorry for your loss.” No compassion. It was handled entirely transactionally. After years as patients of this practice, the blatant lack of empathy in that moment was shocking and inexcusable. In contrast, the animal hospital that ultimately diagnosed our dog’s cancer treated us with urgency, clarity, and compassion during one of the hardest days of our lives. The difference in care, professionalism, and communication was stark. Our pets are family. Competent medical care is essential, but so are consistency, transparency, accountability, and empathy — especially during end-of-life care. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this practice.

We really just love it here. It's taken me quite a while to settle on a veterinary practice and doctor that I can trust to listen to my concerns. I have some weird temperamental cats and Dr. kandle and her staff are always just so warm, welcoming, encouraging and personable.
