Dr. Muller is exactly the vet you need for your pet. She is knowledgeable, professional, and kind. She never tries to give us unnecessary vaccinations or treatments. My dog is 14 and has arthritis. She gets monthly shots that significantly improved her mobility. Every month we go for the shot and nails. I'm very grateful I don't need to give my dog tranquilizer anymore since Dr. Muller is so efficient and fast with the shot and the nails. Wonderful staff there. Everyone is kind and professional. However this clinic is always full. Must set an appointment in advanced if you don't want to wait. Highly recommended!

Editing in reply to your edited reply: even more disappointed seeing this. Now you accuse us of lying? You were not present, my husband is not a liar. I, myself, have stopped attending appointments (if you’ve noticed) because Dr. Muller has been extremely rude to ME. Rather than switch Khloe to another practice, I have sent my husband to avoid having to see her. I was massively pregnant 3 years ago and Dr. Muller accused me of not taking good care of my dog and when I uncomfortably replied that I own a business and have young children so I’m doing my best she replied “well I did it all and was fine.” That was my last straw. Since then, my husband attends appointments because I care so much about my dog that I don’t want to increase her anxiety by switching to another practice so late in her life. Now that you’ve accused us of lying, in addition to giving Khloe vaccines she hasn’t taken in years, I will be calling for her records and moving her. Wow, so disappointing! Thank you to Dr. Rivero for communicating with me directly after I initially left this review. You have been a wonderful vet and treated us with compassion. Unfortunately, you aren’t aware that the people running the office while you’re not present are not giving the same experience. We have even heard the staff say “Dr. Rivero is losing it.” Why would we lie? What a shame. I hate to have to write this review because as a patient of this veterinary clinic for over 15 years, I was very happy with services in the past with Dr. Rivero. Unfortunately, it’s rare that we get to see Dr. Rivero anymore, who was always extremely compassionate and truly cared about helping my dog. Since services have switched over to Dr. Muller, I’ve been unhappy. She has been rude when I bring my dog for routine appointments and has implied that I don’t take good enough care of my senior citizen dog who barely leaves the house at this point in her life. I’ve continued to take my dog here simply because they have her (very extensive) medical history and don’t want to change things up on my anxious dog so late in life. I’d also like to mention that I have spent MANY thousands of dollars here over the years caring for my dog since she is prone to kidney stones and requires a lot of maintenance care. I’ve never complained about the price tag because I know that dogs are expensive and I’m happy to do whatever it takes to make sure my dog is healthy. With that being said, I feel that Dr. Muller looks at my dog as a dollar sign now. Today, I feel she completely took advantage of my husband during my dog’s appointment and this is my last straw. Since I wasn’t there to turn down certain services (bloodwork, Lyme disease and leptospirosis vaccines for a dog who DOES NOT leave the house at her advanced age and therefore is not at risk for those diseases) she proceeded to threaten my husband with reporting us to the town if he declined the vaccines and bloodwork. Excuse me? 15 years of loyalty and paying large price tags without complaining, and you threaten to report us? How disgraceful. NJ only requires a rabies vaccine which we always keep up to date. My dog is very well taken care of and always has been. My dog went in for a nail trim and to have her eye looked at and my husband left having spent $800. I’m sorry but I feel that he was completely taken advantage of and I will be calling first thing when the office opens back up on Monday to speak to someone in charge. This is not how you should treat loyal customers. I would not prefer to bring my dog to a new vet at 15 years old but I have certainly had enough of being treated like they only care about money and not about the actual wellbeing of my dog. I feel it’s very important for other people to know the truth since Dr. Rivero has wonderful reviews- and please realize this review has NOTHING to do with Dr. Rivero herself because I absolutely loved seeing her all those years in the past. You could tell she truly loves animals and I never felt like it was transactional until the switch of doctors took place.

My vet for years. She’s amazing. I know her prices are the lowest in our area. I love the staff. I have been with Dr Rivero for about 20 years and I have recommended her for that long and everyone concurs. She is straight forward and doesn’t sugar coat especially in serious situations. She knows her stuff and deals with owners where they are. I just can’t say enough about how much I feel like I am in the best hands when I am in the office and in her presence. She works so hard. Devoted, compassionate and a wonderful human being
