Mixed feelings about the place. The technicians who pick up the phone do like to hang up and eiather block or disconnect the phone once they getting rid off clients with cats and dogs, once I addressed the issue that my original goal was to take Librella shots about each month or so and they made of course a vet visit, after my dog was new in the neighbourhood. Also technicians when you walk in there, start yelling to get out why even bother coming after leaving a "bad" review. One of the woman has short hair and the other was swinging her hand in circles in my face when I tried asking them why they constantly hang up the phone and the first one was the one so harshly rude. When I asked for a printed copy of my dog blood work results , the other one with swinging hand in a front of my face almost screemed that I need to pay $10 for the printing. Also they both yelled to get out of the clinic and never come back and threatened with a police. There is no way to talk to those people , even if the vet and front desk are nice when they need to be, that is true what others says. Policy of 9 minutes late and I had to be late 10 min due to my sick slow dog. The next week after rescheduling, I came before time and still was seen about 60min if not more late, that made me late for work a hour away not leaving room to take care of my dog neither. Also Dr. Stancel did not diegnosed correctly leaving him to worsen his condition with heavy breathing and my dog getting slower and slower and no appetite within weeks. Instead I was sent to internalists for $300+ a visit plus whatever else needed. Hmmm..$$$$ Other vet discovered right away two reasons and it was very time needed otherwise my dog could pass away . Now trust that clinic to under or no diagnose the reason of heavy breathing and why my dog was so weak. Technicians very unprofessional and even have the audacity to send a stamped letter to my house to discontinue services after one visit, which they only needed $250 more for blood work that my other vet in Queens said I won't need all those labs only $125 for part of those needed for red blood cells count , if he is not animic, as this is what I was checking, we all knew that he has kidneys issue slightly elevated from 4,5 month ago blood work done. After the general visit about 2 months, right after blood work test, they sending us off to a different clinic , reason - cutting dogs and cats clients, only to find out from the tech from back office , that I left a bad review therefore she cutting me off and that was said quickly on a phone, so it was not even clear the the phone disconnected and never picked up again but it was going straight to voicemail. They love to hang up the phone and I think Dr Stancel is not quiet aware what's happening while he is busy with patients , and maybe he should look into the stuff actions toward many of those past clients that were cut off by his employees.

Absolutely love this place. Would definitely recommend anyone with exotic pets to come here. The staff is so welcoming and kind and Dr. Stancel was so caring for my budgie. He did not rush through my appointment at all and took time to explain everything that was going on with my budgie. It was a great experience coming here!

I have a 8+ year old female cockatiel , her name is Peaches. Beautiful yellow with bright orange cheeks. I’ve taken her to Dr. Stancil since a baby. She has had a few accidents because she is very skittish and if she hears a noise she doesn’t like she flys aimlessly. I actually had to change my ringtone to quacking ducks. 😆 She is also a chronic egg layer. Recently she had a prolapse after laying an egg. Dr. Stancil fixed her prolapse and gave her a few stitches. Took care of her when she flew into a wall. I don’t know what Peaches and I would do without a wonderful Vet like him, and his entire staff.

Brought my turtle to Dr Stancil today. I used to bring my bird to him years ago. Great doctor! The women at the front desk and staff are also great, so kind and helpful! I highly recommend this place! 👍😊

Was told my bird had an injury, Was given Medicam from Dr stancil. And it passed away three days later. The nerve of this doctor after going to other offices in the area and being told what actually happened
