We were ecstatic when Dr. Leo reopened Whiting Vet as we were previous clients when she was a vet tech for Dr. Schorr. Dr. Leo is extremely thorough and takes the time to explain everything and answer questions. She goes above and beyond to call and check up on the pet and explain results and next steps in a way that is easily understood. She is very knowledgeable. It is very apparent that she cares for these animals like they were her own. Her staff is very friendly and the facility is bright and cheerful and clean. I know my dog is in good hands now that Dr. Leo is here!!

I visited the Whiting Veterinary clinic the day it reopened because my dog was experiencing a medical emergency. When I made the very difficult decision that I needed to put my Sunny to sleep, Dr. Leo and her staff stayed after closing and compassionately assisted me in saying goodbye to my baby. Dr. Leo's husband even walked me to my car. I've taken my new dog for a checkup and vaccinations and have had a wonderful experience. They are professional, very reasonably priced, and compassionate. I highly recommend you bring your furry friends to see them.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I came to Whiting Vet for the first time since their new opening with my 14 year old dog who was diagnosed with kidney disease by her previous vet to see about moving her care there since it’s closer to my new address now. When the Vet on staff there came in she was immediately arrogant, rude and highly standoffish with me. She seemed somehow insulted that I was coming there from another Vet clinic with instruction for prescribed IV fluid for my dog. After feeling confused by her explanation and information she was providing I asked only for clarification as to whether my dog needed this type of treatment, however she became more and more irate with me and said she felt “uncomfortable” simply for asking if she would be willing to confer with my previous vet to understand my dogs case better. She then got so irritated that she abruptly refused to take my dog on as a patient for what appeared to be no good reason at all. I and my boyfriend were merely asking questions and were stunned by this reaction. I was highly alarmed to see such a poor bedside manner from a vet that should be compassionate and understanding. Sadly, this vet seemed to care more about her fragile ego than what was best for my animal. I would highly recommend you choose wiser before receiving pet care from this clinic.

BEST VET EVER! The staff is so awesome, they really do care about your babies! Open Saturdays, which is amazing. Budget friendly as well. Dr. Ashley is the best, but overall the whole staff is super sweet, compassionate, and they care. 10/10
