Dr. Hornstein and the entire team at Monroe Animal Hospital were absolutely incredible during Hazel’s recent visit. Hazel had a cracked tooth, and Dr. Hornstein truly came to our rescue. He was extremely knowledgeable, caring, thorough, and took the time to explain everything in a way that made us feel comfortable and confident in Hazel’s care. During the visit, he also discovered another tooth that had not come out properly below the gum line, something that could have caused serious issues for Hazel down the road if it had gone unnoticed. We are so grateful for his attention to detail and expertise. From the front desk staff to the veterinary team, everyone treated Hazel with so much love and compassion as if she were part of their own family. That level of care is hard to find today. It’s rare to come across a veterinary practice that combines such genuine compassion, exceptional knowledge, and outstanding treatment. We cannot recommend Dr. Hornstein and the team at Monroe Animal Hospital highly enough. Thank you for taking such amazing care of our Hazel!

Dr Hornstein is the most caring, compassionate, knowledgeable veterinarian I've brought a pet to. He and his staff provide the absolute best customer service and truly care about my pet. Every time I've brought my cat in, their office is clean, organized and I'm greeted quickly. The vet techs are so sweet with my cat and me as well. I'll never take any pet to any other veterinarian.

After adopting our first family dog in 2019, we endured a terrible experience with a franchise veterinary practice for the first year of his life. I am grateful to Dr. Hornstein for his expertise and honesty in advising me that my dog did not need the expensive tests that the franchise veterinarian requested. Dr. Hornstein helped to clear up the confusion and diagnose the problem without superfluous tests. More importantly, Dr. Hornstein is effectively treating my dog's lingering itch. He is healthy again without having been subjected to all kinds of expensive and useless medicines that the franchise pushed.
