I have always found something fishy about this place. First of all the prices are way too expensive compared to other locations. The vet herself makes rude comments all the time to us. Covid was 4 years ago now and they still had there visitors wait outside and fill out paperwork or simply wait until they get the “Vets” approval to come in. It could be 106 degrees steaming hot or -11 degrees and they would not seem to care. Luckily I called to ask for my dogs documents because I’m not sure if there switching locations or closing there business but I come to find out on the documents they had for us and our dog they were calling us liars in the notes and saying our dog was overdue for vaccines when clearly we had an appointment for her last one a week from that note. We also have our parents dog on our name for the vet and they try to call us liars. Maybe they should have taken notes and payed attention because clearly my mother came inside with the other dog before. Avoid this place if they reopen , horrible…
Terrible practice. lack of communication!! No confidence from the Dr and lack of care and concern for the dog. Go somewhere else. They dont truly care. Just out for the money. Beware of devils in sheep clothing!
I had a very short period of time where I had to deal with this vet, and the entire experience has been awful. I adopted my cat in May from a rescue, so I had no say in the matter of where the rescue decided to take her for a vet. They brought her to this location for her spay surgery. Long story short, they did not sew her back up together straight. They sewed it in a way where it formed a pocket, with scar tissue on the inside, with no way to fully heal. I thought the sutures looked weird about two weeks after we brought her home, which was also two weeks after her surgery, so I reached out to them about it. I was told that it was normal, nothing to worry about, if it seems to get infected they’d give an antibiotic and she’d be fine. It seemed to heal and be fine, other than there still being that pocket sew job leftover. That being said, now it is July. Her surgery area, where now there should definitely just be a scar and growing hair back, is now red, inflamed, and there seems to still be a hole where the pocket is along with puss. I took her to the vet of my choice and they informed me that the pocket is from her not being sewn back together straight, and she is also having a negative reaction to the sutures inside. They were supposed to dissolve, and haven’t. They recommended that I immediately contact the vet who performed the surgery to see if they’d be willing to help us, being that they did the original surgery. I called them and spoke with the front desk, emailed photos and videos, and my vet sent over his medical notes to be read as well. The vet herself called me back after days of waiting, only to say “what do you want me to do?” I explain what’s going on once again, even though she definitely should know? She responds telling me “so you want me to put your cat under anesthesia, cut her open, remove the sutures she’s having a bad reaction to, just to sew her back up with the same sutures that’s she’s having a bad reaction to? I don’t have any other sutures so I’m not sure what you even want.” I couldn’t even believe my ears. Not once did she ever express concern or sympathy for my animal.. she was so blunt and rude over the phone that I couldn’t even believe I was speaking with the vet. Now my pet has been dealing with inflamed surgery scarring for weeks and she’s in need of a surgery to re-open, remove the non dissolving stitches, and correctly sew her back up, which by the way is going to be around $900…… any vet with a heart would have seen what she looks like and done what they could to help knowing it was done terribly in the first place. If
You need someone you can trust with the life of your pet, DONT come anywhere near this place.
Excellent Vet. Very knowledgeable! Fair Pricing! Thank you Doctor for taking care of banga.
The Doctor, and especially the staff, are extremely friendly and inviting, making you and your pet or pets feel comfortably right at home. This is a great way to instill that sense of calm energy into your pet right off the bat prior to the visit, which can sometimes be a very stressful experience for your furry friend. Alyssa, one of the techs, has a very good way of always making my pets feel relaxed and at ease. As a relatively new client of theirs, I very much appreciate the way they handle their business, and of course, all my pets (2 cats, 1 dog)! I certainly trust them (the doctor & staff) with my pet’s lives. The place is always very well-kept and clean, which only adds to that high level of a quality experience. The prices are more than fair/reasonable. I would highly recommend anyone living in the Northeast NJ area looking for great, trustworthy experiences between client and doctor/staff, as well as phenomenal and friendly service to call up the Saddle Brook Veterinary Clinic and schedule your furry friend(s) for an appointment! You will not be disappointed. Thank you: Doctor, Alyssa, and Sharen for all of the fantastic experiences thus far, and I very much look forward to many more in the future! We appreciate you guys! Keep up the amazing work.
