This place is absolutely HORRIBLE the veterinarian is always clueless and never listens. The nurse was eating and after held the syringe in her mouth very unsanitary. THE WAIT IS HORRIBLE, even when it’s an emergency. will NOT recommend

I don´t even know where to start.......let me preface by saying that the women in the office as well as the veterinary assistant have nothing to do with what I am about to say. Last month, we made the difficult decision to have our 13-year-old German Shepherd euthanized and a friend recommended this place. Well, let´s just say that the reason itś been over a month that I am writing this is because I am only now getting over the experience. To start, as soon as we brought our dog in to see Dr. Blease, the very first thing he said to the assistant was ¨Did they pay?¨ No hello, no Iḿ sorry, no introduction...he was only interested in money. Then because he was a German Shepherd, the vet demanded we muzzle him, reason being if he happened to bite then he would have to ¨cut his head off and send it for lab results.¨ Yes. he said that directly to us. NEXT he began fussing over the needle size (apparently it was too small) and was joking about it to the assistant (that poor girl looked like she would have rather been anywhere else). Meanwhile, we told them to please remove the muzzle when the procedure was going to happen. He did not. In fact, he did not talk us through the process at all and I had to run over to my dog´s side in order to see what the hell was going on. My dog very suddenly slumped into me with the MUZZLE STILL ON and passed away. No warning. As we stood there crying and not one minute after it happened, he asked us if we were interested in a german shepherd that was in the rescue center. Umm......no. Even after my adamant no, he still continued with it as my friend lay there dead on the table. I will never, ever, go to that place again and I certainly do not recommend this establishment. My dog deserved better than that and deserved to die with dignity. How this man is still practicing is beyond me.......
