Our family had a very upsetting experience with Dr. Coleman Veterinary that ultimately led us to leave the practice. Dr. Coleman recommended a dental cleaning for our West Highland White Terrier, but we do not feel we were adequately informed about the potential risks, complications, or side effects associated with the procedure. Following the procedure, our dog experienced seizures and sadly passed away. Losing a pet is devastating, and we were left feeling that we did not receive the communication or transparency we deserved beforehand. We also had a concerning experience involving our Scottish Terrier, when a rabies vaccine was administered after the veterinarian assumed the vaccination had expired rather than first confirming the records with us. Situations like this made us lose confidence in the level of attention and communication within the practice. We understand that complications can happen in veterinary medicine, but clear communication, informed consent, and careful review of records are extremely important to pet owners making medical decisions for their animals.

I used Dr. Coleman's office for over 11 years before moving from New Jersey. I would highly recommend this kind, caring, and professional office.

Dr. Coleman is a great vet, although he's had to cut his hours back. Still, I recommend him to everyone!
