Dr. Dulce takes amazing care of our dogs. The entire staff is wonderful to work with and everyone is very helpful. Thank you so much for taking such good care of Nathan, Baxter, Winston and Spencer.

We adopted two dogs three years ago and took them to Westfield Veterinary since they were puppies. Everything went smoothly until a troubling incident. During a routine visit, our large breed rescue, who is nervous but not aggressive, either bit or scratched a vet tech. Understandably, they halted the exam and insisted we return with a muzzle and sedatives. What’s particularly concerning is that another dog experienced a similar issue with the same tech that day; the owner was shocked, noting it was out of character for their pet. When we returned months later for an emergency, we were in the midst of a move and couldn’t find the muzzle. I explained my concerns to the tech and requested that my dog be examined in my presence to ease his anxiety. The tech responded, “Yeah, that was me,” then tossed a muzzle toward us and walked out, leaving me to struggle with it. This only escalated my dog’s anxiety. My ten-year-old even remarked, “I don’t like how she said that, Mom,” sensing the tension. When the vet and tech entered, they treated my dog as if he posed a serious threat. I was taken aback by their lack of compassion. If I hadn’t been in a veterinary clinic, I would have thought they had never encountered a dog before. This distressing experience prompted me to seek care elsewhere. I’ve since switched to a new vet who is patient and kind, and we haven’t needed a muzzle since. I’m incredibly relieved to have found a compassionate team. I will never return to Westfield Veterinary and cannot recommend them based on my experience.

My cat had a emergency. We called Westfield Veterinary Group and they took us in right away. Staff was very kind. Dr Fellen was excellent. She was very thorough kind and genuinely cared. The next day she called and asked how my cat was doing. I would highly recommend them. We were very satisfied. I am glad I chose them.
