I can’t say enough good things about All Creatures Great and Small! The receptionists at the front are fantastic—they’re funny, kind, knowledgeable, and they go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. And Dr. Byron is truly exceptional. You can tell he genuinely loves animals—he treats my dogs like they’re his own. The care he provides is above and beyond what you could hope for. I’ve found my forever vet—this place is incredible, and I wouldn’t trust my dogs anywhere else. I highly recommend them to anyone!
All Creatures Great and Small was an absolute blessing to find! Our beautiful 11 year old cat, our Meemer girl got sick on Sunday and nowhere close to us was open. We called. They answered right away. They told us to come right over. From the moment we stepped through the door we immediately felt like she was in the right hands. They told us exactly what was going on when they took her back. When we met with Dr Ashmore, we could not be more happy to know he was taking care of her. Dr Ashmore truly cares about your pet and their care. He updated me over the next couple days with what was going on with her and was so caring and compassionate the entire time. Unfortunately we had to let our girl cross the rainbow bridge after a couple of days but knowing that they did everything in their power to try to save her meant the world. Dr Ashmore and his staff are truly amazing people who love your animal as if they were their own. We will absolutely be back here for wellness checks for our other animals! If you’re reading this review, you probably understand the unconditional love we have for our pets. They’re family. But for our family, that bond runs even deeper. As parents of three young children, two of which with special needs, finding a dog who loves them, protects them, and connects with them so naturally is something more special than I can fully put into words. Hank is not “just a dog” to us, he is part of the heart of our home.
So when we realized Hank needed emergency surgery for a bowel obstruction on a weekend, we were terrified. I called every open vet I could find within 50 miles, desperate for someone who could help. What we found at All Creatures was so much more than a veterinary office.
From the moment I made that frantic call, I was met with compassion, urgency, and understanding. Within an hour, we were sitting with the vet, who took the time to carefully explain every option, walk us through the risks and benefits, and help us make what felt like an impossible decision. At no point did I feel rushed, pressured, or judged — only supported.
That kind of care matters more than I can say when you’re scared and trying to do right by an animal you love so deeply.
Because of the incredible vets, techs, and front office staff at All Creatures, Hank is still here with us today. Still loving our kids. Still being the gentle, loyal part of our family that we couldn’t imagine losing.
I will be forever grateful for the care, skill, and kindness they showed us during one of the hardest moments we’ve faced.
