We have been part of the Oradell Animal Hospital family since the original Kinderkamack Road location — more than 30 years of extraordinary care, compassion, and unwavering professionalism.
From emergency care to specialty services, Oradell Fort Lee has stood beside us through some of the most difficult and most meaningful moments of our lives. One of the qualities that has always set Oradell Fort Lee apart is its exceptional responsiveness. In moments of fear, uncertainty, or true emergency, someone is always there — and remarkably, calls are ANSWERED and often returned within MINUTES. That level of attentiveness, professionalism, and reassurance means more than words can express.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes to the entire all‑star team — especially Dr. Hacker, Dr. Shrope, Dr. Eirman, Dr. Gannon, Sue, Alicia, Kimberly, Nicole, and every technician and staff member who consistently goes above and beyond with kindness, dedication, and love for both our beloved pets and our family.
Over the years, Oradell Fort Lee has become far more than a veterinary hospital to us. It has been a place of comfort, trust, healing, and hope — through both joyful milestones and the hardest days. At Oradell Fort Lee, we have truly found a home.
We remain profoundly grateful for the outstanding care, dedication, compassion, and love that continue to be given without hesitation, without limits, and without fail.

Oradell Vetinary is wonderful they are always accommodating, friendly & knowledgeable. The only problem is getting ahold of anyone in the phone. When you call the Fort Lee location, you have to call multiple times throughout the day as no.one answered your call.

The doctors and team at Oradell Animal Hospital are the absolute best. They are compassionate and always treat our cats with care. Our cat, Taco, absolutely loves his visits. He never wants to leave! Dr. DeSantis is the vet we've seen the most and we love him. He has great bedside manner and he's so sweet to our cats. We unfortunately had to say goodbye to our 21-year-old cat earlier this year and Dr. DeSantis was able to be with us and helped her pass on peacefully in the Oradell location. Are there cheaper veterinarians in the area? Sure, but you get what you pay for and the care OAH gives our cats is worth every penny.

They do not care if your pet starves

I had an unfortunate experience at Oradell Fort Lee that, while it could have been a minor issue, was handled extremely poorly and demonstrated a lack of concern for both a pet’s health and a pet owner’s peace of mind.
On 1/9/26, I placed an order with Amazon for HeartGard Plus and provided all the required veterinary information for approval. I never heard back from either Amazon or Oradell. On 1/16/26, I emailed Oradell to confirm whether the prescription request had been received. Andrea from Oradell responded, stating that the order was never received on their end. Around the same time, Amazon canceled the order due to no response.
I immediately placed a new order and emailed Andrea again with the order number to help expedite the process. She replied that she contacted VetSource, but was told the order could not be processed because my Amazon account did not list my last name despite the fact that my dog’s full name was correctly entered. Shortly after, Amazon again notified me that the order was canceled directly by Oradell. I called Amazon customer service to confirm, and they verified that the cancellation came from Oradell’s office.
At that point, I asked if someone from Oradell could call me so we could resolve the issue. I then received a call from Sue, who was extremely belligerent, spoke over me, would not allow me to explain, and repeatedly insisted that VetSource was at fault. Her tone was aggressive and, at times, felt like she was yelling. I eventually stopped her to explain that the information she was providing was incorrect and that her lack of professionalism was unacceptable. Only then did her tone change, and she offered a free month of HeartGard, but by that point I no longer felt comfortable returning to the office.
Shortly after, an extremely helpful representative at VetSource contacted me directly to resolve the issue. They confirmed that they did receive the order on 1/9/26, reached out to Oradell, and “never heard back”. They also confirmed that the issue regarding my name was irrelevant since I was not the patient and my dog’s information was entered correctly. They confirmed the second order was, in fact, canceled by Oradell.
This experience was very disappointing. I genuinely enjoyed visiting this office previously and had positive experiences with the veterinarians who cared for my pet. However, the way this situation was handled especially the manner in which I was spoken to by Sue has made it impossible for me to feel comfortable returning. There is a serious need for better communication and customer service training, particularly when dealing with pet owners.
