I am a petsitter, and a cat in my care needed emergent care whilst his usual veterinarian was closed for a holiday weekend. Animal Hospital of Sussex County took my worried call and squeezed me in immediately, and Dr. Lovell took wonderful care of my client's cat. He took time to not only explain the cat's conditions and treatment to me, as well as to the cat's family via phone call, but he didn't "dumb down" the medical language or assume I would not comprehend what he was sharing with me about the cat. Dr. Lovell also informed me of his schedule for the holiday weekend, and said that whenever the cat's regular veterinarian is out, we are always welcome to reach out to his clinic. I am so grateful to have the cat looked after and treated swiftly when we were in an urgent situation without his regular veterinarian! Thank you, Dr. Lovell and Animal Hospital of Sussex County! Dr. Courtney is the absolute BEST. She truly loves our Chocolate Lab Rudy, so much so she gets down on the floor only to get a bath from him! Rudy's nickname is Lick-a-Rude. We feel completely confrontable and secure with Dr. Courtney caring for our "baby". It's comforting to know the staff cares as for our family member as we do. Thank you for the Love and affection and of course medical attention you provide. Also, at the beginning and end of our visits the Medical Technicians and office staff provide the same level of caring and compassion. They have never minded Rudy leaving everyone with big sloppy wet kisses. Its heartwarming to know Rudy does not fear visiting the Vet, as he knows he is simply visiting his Friends!
