AFTER BEING CUSTOMER FOR MANY YEARS , I CALLED FOR A NEW PET THAT I HAVE , THAT IS HAVING A PROBLEM HOLDING DOWN HER FOOD , THE RECEPONIST STATED THAT THEY ARE NOT TAKING ON ANY NEW CUSTOMERS . I EXPLAINED IM NOT A NEW CUSTOMER I JUST HAVE A NEW PET. SHE DIDNT WANT TO HEAR IT! THIS PLACE IS A ZERO NOW ! NOT LOYAL TO THE PEOPLE THAT HELPED THEM BUILD THEIR BUSINESS! SHAME ON THEM!!!

Sadly, Country Animal Hospital is now owned by CareVet, a corporate entity that is only interested in extracting maxmimum profit from its practices. I am angry, why? Because this vet has taken care of many of our families animals over the years, the staff have always been amazing, and the service had a true country feel. Now it's all about maximizing fees. I noticed that our bills have gone up astronomically since the move to the new location. Where we would only be charged one consult fee if we brought two dogs in, now we are charged for everything. No "we appreciate you being a customer for decades, we waived this fee, or discounted you this". I get it, you're running a business, but there was zero notification of the change of ownership and CareVet is trading off the generational goodwill built by Dr DeBaecke and his father. What was a vet operating from a room in a house, has now grown into a corporate money grab. The final straw for me was being told that going forward our medications needed to be ordered through them, whereas we would shop some of them online. Why am I going to pay you $130 for the same generic medication that I can get for $31 elsewhere?
